Freaking awesome! I hope they do allot of these and release them in a collectors edition of the game.

Left4Dead 2 Demo
So I downloaded the Left4Dead 2 Demo last night, which I got to do earlier then most because I pre-ordered it at Gamestop. Took about an hour and a half to download though, freaking long. The demo has to modes open to it, single player campaign and campaign multiplayer. So no liking having to deal with randoms I played the single player mode.
And I must say I'm impressed. Everything I liked about the first one they've brought back but they've changed enough to make it more intense. For what I can tell is they've stuffed allot more zombies in per area. So right from the get go it can get pretty frantic. The new spacial zombies don't really cause to much more problems but it is a welcome addition.
The new weapons are fun and feel right, and by right I mean powerful. When you shoot a zombie they really get damaged. Like limbs flying off as well as heads or just there chest getting blown out. It's really graphic so those who don't like the gore should definitely stay away. And now on to one of my favorite additions, melee weapons! In the demo I found three of them starting with a frying pan which was alright but not quite as satisfying as say the machete I found next! The thing was awesome chopping through zombies with. Head and limbs hacking off and it actually works for protecting yourself. The last one I was a police officer club but I did not pick it up for I had a freaking machete!
Fairly long for a demo you get to play through three areas though not all the way to the rescue vehicle. If you guys liked the last one or just want a zombie game definitely give this demo a download.

Modern Warfare 2 casting players as terrorists?
Here's Gamespot's story on it here, they do a better job telling things then I could. But now for my opinion, I think it's in bad taste for sure to have people play as terrorists, mainly because allot of people aren't going to want to do that. So in a game where you've largely killed terrorists before, for them to stick it in is a surprise and not a good one.
Me myself I have no problem playing that part of the game because I know it's a game. To me it's just as if I read it in a book or watched it in a movie. Still I see this doing nothing but hurting Modern Warfare 2. There will probably be allot of people who will not buy it just because of this. And in this sue happy days I would not be surprised if some distraught family who loved ones died from terrorists don't sue them at some point.
One things for sure is this will get them publicity, sadly for a game that's so well known it's hardly needed.
There also going to have some multiplayer modes play in third person insted of first. Which is fine as long as theyt don't mess with team death, normal or hardcore.

Fable III To Support Natal
This comic is from Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, check them out great web comic for sure.
So Yeah Fable III with Natal.
There's two downsides I see to this one being that I have not interest in motion sensing games. If I did I'd be playing my Wii all the time. As it stands the thing never really gets touched. And most real gamers don't do there serious gaming on it ether.
Downside number two is there going to have microtransactions. I really hate that word. Nickel and dimeing for everything sucks and only those who really want something or have the money will buy stuff and everyone else will be playing a game missing things that it should already have. Now of course I'm not talking about full blown expansions or things like that but like a sword. Yeah one freaking sword. Just freaking give it to us in a game update you cheap bastards.

Borderlands
So far I'm liking this game. It's a little hard playing by yourself but playing co-op is a blast. Of course with the right people. This game is a great mix of collect gear RPG's and FPS. So far I'm finding a pretty good selection of guns. I like the pistols and shotguns. It has vehicles as well but the driving controls are not very good. I find myself running into things and off cliffs.
This definitely has a great sense of humor. It doesn't have much of a story but the crazy characters make up for it in there wackiness. So far I've fought bandits, midget bandits, dog things, and annoying birds of doom. All of which have killed me at lest once. I hope to spend my weekend playing this one before Forza 3 come out next week. If anything I've wrote changes I'll post it Monday.

Loyal Shopping
So like many people today I'll only spend my money with certain people and or stores. But the main reasons I'll spend money at said store is because of the people. Take it this way. I'll only buy video games at a Gamestop because when I go in there they know me by name and know I'm not some noob when it comes to my gaming. They don't pester me about games coming out unless I ask because I already know about them all. Friendly prompt service with a smile.
Store that don't do that make it hard to go back to even if you like there product. Like I never go to Hardee's or Burger King any more for lunch. Our Hardee's is way to freaking slow and the Burger King out of 4 visits only got my order right once.
I also prefer to spend my money with small businesses that do good jobs. Small stores are even more likely to have that personal relationship with you. For awhile me and a guy at work ate at the same restaurant every week. The waitress knew what we wanted as soon as we sat down. Sadly our boss said we were taking to long on our lunch breaks so we had to stop.
So anyway there's my little ideas on this stuff.

Achievement Points & Trophies
This weekend I've played games I thought I was long done with. Why you may ask, because of achievement points. Now there's always games you love that you'll go back to time and time again. No matter how many times you beat it. Like for me Suikoden II and Oblivion. There's some oldies that even to this day I love. I haven't had my PS3 long enough to have oldies but I'm quickly finding the trophies are just as addictive to get.
I also had a thought that really achievement points are just an evolution of what video games have taught us. Even in the NES days we wanted the high score. We've wanted to find all the whistles in Super Mario 3. We've wanted to get all the Matera in Final Fantasy 7. Some, but not all of us to some degree or another are completionests. And partly so by the very video games we've played. At lest looking back that's what I see for myself.
I'd love to see Nintendo follow suit and create something similar. What's great about them if you don't like them, that's fine you don't have to get them. Options is the key word. Great developers and sellers of anything know that giving people options they like is the greatest way to sell. Cars, Movie theaters, Music, restaurants, bars are all made better with good options.

Gordon Freeman The Big Hero
This is what I picture Freeman's personalty as, freaking awesome.
So Gordon Freeman wins Gamespots "All Time Greatest Video Game Hero" contest. Which is kind of crazy seeing he beat out mother freaking Mario. In an earlier round he also beat out Solid Snake. Now I like Freeman but there's nothing to the man. We never hear how he feels or thinks about anything. Hell he may be a real asshole or worse a pansy. But at that point in the contest I think more people were voting against Mario then for Freeman. Any way congrats Dr.Freeman and if you guys haven't play Half-life get the freak out there and buy it. Your missing a great game.

WATCH THIS NOW!!
I'm buying this game now because of these two videos in hopes that this great humor is in the game.
Brutal Legend
So I've picked up the metal game for my PS3 and I must say I'm pretty impressed. They've done a very good meld of multiple genres to create a cool all though short game.
So the story is you a roadie have an accident on stage that sends you to a world based on metal. You team up with some people right away to right wrongs and punish the bad guys. You have a hot rod to get around the you can summon at any time. You fight with an axe and your guitar that shoots lightning. As you go you start building an army, first starting some headbanging idiots, then bikers that heal and finally chicks with guns.
Hears where they start to do something different, you have large scale battles where you command you troops using the D-pad. And there's these geysers the you have to play your guitar for to have them erupt with fan, your power source for summoning you troops. Fend off waves of enemy's and you win. w00t. I have not checked out the multiplayer yet but it's supposed to have a versus mode where you battle like that.
The voice acting in this game is top notch. With Jack Black voicing the main character, Ozzy being the Guardian of Metal and various of metal stars lending the voices to it. Funny enough you can Completely understand everything Ozzy says, weird right? And of course the music kicks major freaking ass. You find statue all around the world that unlock more music to hear as well. Speaking of the world it is and open one so drive around as you please to see all the cool metal world.
In final, I think it's a fun game made funner if you love metal music. It's shortness does hurt but I'll need to beat it once and see how capable I am of playing through a second time.
My Score: 9.0-for metalheads 8.0- for normal people

The Last Remnant
So The Last Remnant is about a boy(you the main character) trying to rescue your sister after she gets kid napped. You end up making friends with a Duke and he gives you access to his troops. This is a JRPG but the do combat a little different. You have multiple units made up of leaders and the normal guys. You get to pick who you want and where you want them. And during combat you only give the units orders not the individuals.
Outside of combat you can see the monsters on the map so you can try to run from them if you want but that wouldn't be advisable seeing ass every battle you fight makes your guys stronger. There is certainly allot of side quest to do this with too.
So far it's main story is pretty interesting. Some unknown figures are screwing with the Remnants.(giant things of magic, I guess) And they've got your sister to boot. So your running around trying to catch them.
My Score: 7.5

Clash of the Titans Video Game?
So there making a new up to date Clash of the Titans movie so of course here comes the game with it. And sadly about 8 times out of 10 it will suck balls. But I'm still going hold out hope for it and my opinion will improve if the movie remake is good.

Halo series to continue through 2015
It will be nice when Halo: Reach comes out sometime next year and untill then you can pick up Halo:ODST to get your fix. But will Reach be Bungies last Halo game? Should be interesting to see what they do if there going all the way to 2015. I feel like I need to tea bag someone now.

Pirates hit navy ship 'in error'
Ha what a bunch of idiots. The French ship should have blasted them out of the water, freaking bleeding hearts.
Activision did not want a Modern Warfare game!
Isn't that crazy as hell. They want Infinity Ward to keep making WWII games on PC only. Luckily Infinity Ward stuck to there guns and put out Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare that sold 14 million copies. With big number two around the corner it's already looking to out do it's predecessor. The hype is building as we get closer to release day November 10th. So who's going to get the night vision goggles to do so neighbor spying? :D

Jack The Ripper Game?
EA's Visceral Games makers of Dead Space have file to trademark "The Ripper". My question is do we hunt down the Ripper or do we get to be the Ripper. If it's the latter I'm very interested. It'll let everyone live out the serial killer dreams. Wait ......what do you mean I'm the only person that has thoughts?! Come here I'm going to.......so yeah lot's of game makers have trademarked names and never used them, just kept them in there back pocket so we will see what EA does.

Call of Duty Movie?
'Call of Duty' trademarked for films. I really can't see this working. The Call of Duty games don't really have movie story's. They have fight this bad guy here and then go fight this bad guy here. I mean I could be wrong and get surprised when or if they make a movie. Still I don't like all this talk of video game movies. They don't exactly have a good track record. About the only good one is the Silent Hill movie, everything else is B movie material or worse.

Sue Happy Idiots
So yeah first off this idiot tryed to sue PSN for banning him because he was tamping with the game. Damn right he deserves to be banned. The idiot said that they were violating his first amendment rights. What?Idiot! Good news is the judge threw it out. Thank god judges still have some brains left to them.
Poor EA is getting sued by everyone and there cousin. First one was from Jim Brown who felt they profited off his likeness in the all Browns team. Number two, there getting hit for Madden, NCAA, and Fight Night Round 4. If the suits are found valid then that's all good be if there not I think the courts need to start fining idiots that waist courts time.

Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack On The Way?
So it's not even out yet and there already talking about relese a map pack for it? I don't know everyone else feels about that but it sound to me like Activision is just going to milk this game for all it's worth. But that's just the first impression. The map packs not coming out till spring, so November to spring is a pretty long time. By then we will probably be begging for some new maps to slaughter on.
