Assassins Creed 2 and Left4Dead 2 have come out to great reviews. I myself have played allot of Left4Dead 2 and a little Assassins Creed 2. (Saving it for later) But both have the feeling of AAA titles so for sure check out these reviews and do yourself a favor and at lest rent them.
