Small Rant

Ok so I bought Killzone 2 awhile ago but never got around to playing it. so I decided to give it a go today and I must say it has not aged well. The controls are soooo laggy I feel like I'm fighting them more then the game. You can't truly take cover either, You can crouch but half you bodies still sticking out which the enemy  will take full advantage of.

I got to some boss fight with a helicopter and it pissed me off, and for a game I was barely interested in playing my desire flew right out the window. You've got little to no cover, you can't carry two main weapons so your stuck with a rocket launcher and you f-ing pistol to shoot these lightning rods and then shoot the thing with rockets. Which by the way the damn thing has rockets too. >.<

Yeah I think I'm done with it. lol Lame.

Mass Effect 3 Endings And Why We Hate It Video

This is definitely an awesome response and explanation to why so many gamers hate the Mass Effect 3 endings.

Mass Effect 3 Endings

I must say I was rather disappointed in the ending. It left me no options that I liked and told me next to nothing about the universe afterwards. Now that in itself might not be so bad but it's made worse because it goes against everything the game has set us up for.

Mass Effect is all about your options and making the choices you want, shaping the galaxy. So at the end of it all, after hours and hours of shaping, not to tell me how it all turned out really pisses me off. I feel like my time was wasted or at lest the final hour or so, the final battle felt pointless because everything I was interested in has already been settled to a point that I'm happy with.

And the whole confusing multiplayer effecting or not effecting your endings also is just an annoying addition that I really could have done without. So I'm trying to play through all three games to see how I feel about the series as a whole afterwards. I'm going to play an asshole who puts human agenda first since it's quite different from my other character.

I don't think, after the last couple Bioware games, that I'm going to jump on their next IP right away. If it's Dragon Age 3 I'll pick it up day one but that's because I'm already invested into the series. Tis a shame but I dislike being so invested into a character/s and being so very much disappointed.

Can suck my mother fucking balls. Yup. I said it. I know they have to be careful to who they lend money but they do it way past the point of ridiculousness. I swear if they don't give me the loan then no one can get a loan from these guys.......I'm a little stressed about it can you tell. :D

Unreal Lag

I really believe how poor the online is for Modern Warfare 2. And by online I mean servers. You're constantly getting booted or having to wait for host change. Lobbies take forever, sometimes splitting up your party! And then we have the wonderful match's that don't end even though there a total lag fest. I just don't want to hear how much better Infinity Ward is then Treyarch because there not. I never had this problems playing World at War. Plus Treyarch has a fantastic fan site where they track you stats and the developers actually let you know whats going on to fix glitches.

Crybaby Cowboy LB

So after the Vikings' beating of the Cowboys the LB Keith Brooking is crying that the Vikings' ran up the score and that there classless. Dear lord man grow a set of balls and learn to stop them next time. The Vikings' players are getting paid out the ass to destroy people and hey guess what your getting paid to stop them and YOU failed. This isn't peewee feel good football. If I was the Cowboy coach I'd use this to make sure it didn't happen again and I'd probably reprimand the big crybaby LB.

Haiti Thingy

Ok I'm totally going to be an ass but o well. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that were going to be giving them 100mil dollars. There not f-ing part of our country, which by the way is hemorrhaging money. I do feel bad and sorry for them but in order to take care of others you have to take care of yourselves first. Heck even a little bit would be nice. People are losing homes and jobs left and right but were going to just be giving money away?! It just doesn't make any sense to me. Hell if the same thing happened here would Haiti be sending us money? Maybe they would but I'm not as sure whether our own government would. LOL

Anyway wish them the best of luck but your getting my tax dollars you wont be getting any more of my money that heck I don't even have. : (

Microsoft to 'encourage exercise' >.O What?

Aperently gamers are getting fat, so Microsoft is going to take it upon themselves to get us in shape . :/ Hopfully this will only be with there select excersize games. If it is for all games I shall be taking all my gaming to the PS3. If I don't want a government telling me what to do I certainly am not going to listen to Microsoft. >:( Stupid, stupid, stupid Microsoft.

Two Little Things

Man I found something to hate in the game last night. The freaking ninja knife mother feckers! They run are with commando, lightweight, and I forget what else and it pretty much teleport them 5 feet into stabbing your ass. Really freaking lame Infinity Ward.

O here's another gripe. The games and lobby are allot more unstable then COD:W@W's ones. Back playing that game I maybe got kicked out of a lobby once a night. On MW2 it's like 5 or 6 if I'm lucky.

So I forget why is Infinity Ward better then Treyarch?

A Stupid Blind Person

Ok this idiot's suing Sony Online because he can't see the video game......You have trouble seeing dumb ass sue your God if anybody for one making you blind if you didn't do it yourself and apparently for making you retarded. I'm really getting tired of people suing of stupid shit. So here's what the rules should be if it doesn't hurt you or steal from you SHUT THE FUCK UP! Yes your going blind and hey guess what your not entitled to do everything someone who can see can, get over it. People suing over foolish things like this ruin it for people who have actually been hurt by someone.

Hmm my dad get's motion sickness when he plays games the move to fast I guess we should sue for them not making all games playable for him.

Modern Warfare 2 casting players as terrorists?

Here's Gamespot's story on it here, they do a better job telling things then I could. But now for my opinion, I think it's in bad taste for sure to have people play as terrorists, mainly because allot of people aren't going to want to do that. So in a game where you've largely killed terrorists before, for them to stick it in is a surprise and not a good one.

Me myself I have no problem playing that part of the game because I know it's a game. To me it's just as if I read it in a book or watched it in a movie. Still I see this doing nothing but hurting Modern Warfare 2. There will probably be allot of people who will not buy it just because of this. And in this sue happy days I would not be surprised if some distraught family who loved ones died from terrorists don't sue them at some point.

One things for sure is this will get them publicity, sadly for a game that's so well known it's hardly needed.

There also going to have some multiplayer modes play in third person insted of first. Which is fine as long as theyt don't mess with team death, normal or hardcore.

There's two downsides I see to this one being that I have not interest in motion sensing games. If I did I'd be playing my Wii all the time. As it stands the thing never really gets touched. And most real gamers don't do there serious gaming on it ether.

Downside number two is there going to have microtransactions. I really hate that word. Nickel and dimeing for everything sucks and only those who really want something or have the money will buy stuff and everyone else will be playing a game missing things that it should already have. Now of course I'm not talking about full blown expansions or things like that but like a sword. Yeah one freaking sword. Just freaking give it to us in a game update you cheap bastards.

Loyal Shopping

So like many people today I'll only spend my money with certain people and or stores. But the main reasons I'll spend money at said store is because of the people. Take it this way. I'll only buy video games at a Gamestop because when I go in there they know me by name and know I'm not some noob when it comes to my gaming. They don't pester me about games coming out unless I ask because I already know about them all. Friendly prompt service with a smile.

Store that don't do that make it hard to go back to even if you like there product. Like I never go to Hardee's or Burger King any more for lunch. Our Hardee's is way to freaking slow and the Burger King out of 4 visits only got my order right once.

I also prefer to spend my money with small businesses that do good jobs. Small stores are even more likely to have that personal relationship with you. For awhile me and a guy at work ate at the same restaurant every week. The waitress knew what we wanted as soon as we sat down. Sadly our boss said we were taking to long on our lunch breaks so we had to stop.

So anyway there's my little ideas on this stuff.

Achievement Points & Trophies

This weekend I've played games I thought I was long done with. Why you may ask, because of achievement points. Now there's always games you love that you'll go back to time and time again. No matter how many times you beat it. Like for me Suikoden II and Oblivion. There's some oldies that even to this day I love. I haven't had my PS3 long enough to have oldies but I'm quickly finding the trophies are just as addictive to get.

I also had a thought that really achievement points are just an evolution of what video games have taught us. Even in the NES days we wanted the high score. We've wanted to find all the whistles in Super Mario 3. We've wanted to get all the Matera in Final Fantasy 7. Some, but not all of us to some degree or another are completionests. And partly so by the very video games we've played. At lest looking back that's what I see for myself.

I'd love to see Nintendo follow suit and create something similar. What's great about them if you don't like them,that's fine you don't have to get them. Options is the key word. Great developers and sellers of anything know that giving people options they like is the greatest way to sell. Cars, Movie theaters, Music, restaurants, bars are all made better with good options.

Gordon Freeman The Big Hero

This is what I picture Freeman's personalty as, freaking awesome.

So Gordon Freeman wins Gamespots "All Time Greatest Video Game Hero" contest. Which is kind of crazy seeing he beat out mother freaking Mario. In an earlier round he also beat out Solid Snake. Now I like Freeman but there's nothing to the man. We never hear how he feels or thinks about anything. Hell he may be a real asshole or worse a pansy. But at that point in the contest I think more people were voting against Mario then for Freeman. Any way congrats Dr.Freeman and if you guys haven't play Half-life get the freak out there and buy it. Your missing a great game.

Warning Rant Time

Ok wth is wrong with people? What is it that draws out all the retards online? The main thing I can think of immunity. They can say what they want, act how they want with out any retribution. So what's that say about people, that if nothing would happen to them they would act like that all the time. The more and more people I meat the more I hate and feel very sad for the sorry state of mankind. I'm not perfect by any means but I at lest treat people with respect and I try to be kind, though I'm not always successful.

One of the big problems is stupid parents that think it's fine never to spank your children. You know what if you didn't punish you kid and he/she turns into a monster guess what your but should pay for the stupid things they do.

And since this is a video game blog a huge what the fuck to all the parents that let there kids A: play rated mature games and B: letting them play them online. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the kids are stupid as dirt if that's the kind of parents they have. But for the parents who are just ignorant take 2 seconds of your time and find out what your child is playing.

Now a parent should know there kid and whether or not they can interact with people in a polite adult manner or if there going to be stupid the first time there not supervised. And if not then you've got some serious issues to work out before you worry about anything else.

Well I guess that's it. BTW the picture, if you haven't figured out is fitting in the way no one wants to take responsibility for there actions or there kids. /rant
