Nuzlocke Run 2012!

It's been awhile, I was last right under the biker bridge. Since then I moved on above Solaceon Town and did some epic training. I mean if the Ponyta's I defeated were put in a pile it'd make a fucking volcano man. Also Melinda evolved into a Rapidash. Roc didn't get leveled much because of there being nothing but the Ponyta's, Ponyta's everywhere. I think I got them high enough for a bit and have continued to Veilstone City. The fighting gym there should be no problem even without type advantage. Still no casualties, w00t!

Playing On The Weekend

So some of Saturday and most of Sunday I was playing Assassin's Creed Revelations. Reminds me allot of Brotherhood but with some miner improvements. I could totally play a game where you just micro-managed assassins. Heck for awhile I just ran around killing guards waiting for them to get back from missions. XD

Combat still makes you feel like a badass, and I like playing as Ezio as an old man. Even if said old man can still wipe his ass with every soldier that tries to take him on. Should get more into it this week, maybe...I'm getting Warriors:Legends of Troy in either today or tomorrow and since I really wanted this game but thought it had got completely canceled I'll probably be playing the freaking hell out of it.

Small Rant

Ok so I bought Killzone 2 awhile ago but never got around to playing it. so I decided to give it a go today and I must say it has not aged well. The controls are soooo laggy I feel like I'm fighting them more then the game. You can't truly take cover either, You can crouch but half you bodies still sticking out which the enemy  will take full advantage of.

I got to some boss fight with a helicopter and it pissed me off, and for a game I was barely interested in playing my desire flew right out the window. You've got little to no cover, you can't carry two main weapons so your stuck with a rocket launcher and you f-ing pistol to shoot these lightning rods and then shoot the thing with rockets. Which by the way the damn thing has rockets too. >.<

Yeah I think I'm done with it. lol Lame.

Nuzlocke Run 2012!

Finally Bertilda has evolved! And now the thousand years of destruction may begin, muh hah ha ha!

But yeah defeated the next grass gym with ease due to Oz and Abbi. Kicked some Team whatever the fucks ass and have traveled down the bike road. I spent a bunch of time grinding underneath said bike road slaughtering the great exp givers, ponytas. Caught one to keep myself, named it Melinda lvl14 and have replaced Abbi with her.

So far I haven't even had a close call or a need to use healing items, so it's a much better run then last time. ^-^ Pretty much all my team are fully evolved other then Roc and Melinda. Tired of having to run away from the damn Stunkys with aftermath so I'm moving on till the next Ponyta grind point.

Mass Effect 3 Endings

I must say I was rather disappointed in the ending. It left me no options that I liked and told me next to nothing about the universe afterwards. Now that in itself might not be so bad but it's made worse because it goes against everything the game has set us up for.

Mass Effect is all about your options and making the choices you want, shaping the galaxy. So at the end of it all, after hours and hours of shaping, not to tell me how it all turned out really pisses me off. I feel like my time was wasted or at lest the final hour or so, the final battle felt pointless because everything I was interested in has already been settled to a point that I'm happy with.

And the whole confusing multiplayer effecting or not effecting your endings also is just an annoying addition that I really could have done without. So I'm trying to play through all three games to see how I feel about the series as a whole afterwards. I'm going to play an asshole who puts human agenda first since it's quite different from my other character.

I don't think, after the last couple Bioware games, that I'm going to jump on their next IP right away. If it's Dragon Age 3 I'll pick it up day one but that's because I'm already invested into the series. Tis a shame but I dislike being so invested into a character/s and being so very much disappointed.

Nuzlocke Run 2012!

Made it to Vally Windworks without losing anybody. The Turtwig Roc evolved into Grotle, Shinx Nanami evolved into Luxio and Starly Abbi evolved into Staravia. Roc took out the first gym by himself. I think this team will do better then my last one. ^-^ Caught some more warriors. XD A Psyduck named Dude lvl.8 and a Buizel named Genni lvl.8.

So as of today the levels are Bertilda/Magikarp lvl9 - Mr.Slave/Bidoof lvl14 - Roc/Grotle lvl20 - Oz/Zubat lvl16 - Abbi/Staravia lvl20 - Nanami/Luxio lvl16

Going to see if I can't grind them all to level 20 before moving on, maybe get Bertilda to evolve into Gyarados. :D

Nuzlocke Run 2012!

So after doing some grinding outside Sandgem town our Akira moved on to Jubilife city where we caught a sassy Zubat named Oz, a lax Magikarp named Bertilda and a timid Shinx named Nanami. And has since rolled back to Sandgem to train the new warriors up to snuff. Soon Akira will set out again and will hopefully not slaughter all his pokemon.....again. >.<

Starting Nuzlocke Run

So I'm doing a nuzlocke run on Pokemon Diamond. And for those unfamiliar with the nuzlocke run here's a link to the whole thing. Do check out the dude's comic it's epic as hell, hope he starts it up again soon now that I've found out about it. lol

I've picked Turtwig named Roc as my starter and as of writing this have caught a Starly named Abbi and a Bidoof named Mr.Slave. Can you guess which one will be a HM slave. I plan on grinding the hell out of this run, no pokemon left behind!

I failed out at the elite 4 on my first run but on that play through I didn't use any healing items what-so-ever. So this time I plan on allowing myself to buy 5 items of each type at each town. I'm thinking I'll be able to use them during battle though. But of course no revives. *sniff* *sniff* I killed so many pokemon on my first failed run, the horror. O.O

Mass Effect 3 Released

So the final game is released for this great trilogy. They've change some things up this time and I'm really looking forward to seeing them as well as seeing how all the choices I've made in the two past games come together. I have four characters done in Mass Effect 2 so I know I'll at lest be playing through that many times.

I know allot of people are pissed about the day one DLC with lore important character. I am a bit too and I wish they hadn't done it that way but I'm no where pissed enough not to buy the ending to my characters stories so to speak. Definitely though if it bugs ya don't pick up the extra DLC but don't pass on what should be one of the greats this year.
